1. Accommodation
Recommended hotels for congress participants can be found in the suggested hotel list from the University of Aveiro. Reservations should be made directly by attendees.
2. How to Reach the University of Aveiro
The nearest airport is Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro, in Porto. From the airport, the metro connects to Campanhã train station, where Alfa e Intercidades para Lisboa trains to Lisbon depart, most of which stop in Aveiro.
By Car
– From the North via the A1 motorway, take the A25 exit towards Aveiro. The A25 offers two exits for Aveiro: Aveiro-North and Aveiro. For the University of Aveiro, the second exit is recommended.
– From the South via the A1, take the Aveiro-South/Águeda exit (exit 15) and continue on the EN235 until reaching the campus.
By Train
Aveiro is located on Portugal’s main railway line (Linha do Norte). Train schedules are available on the CP- Comboios de Portugal website. From the train station, you can reach the campus by:
–Bus: Green line
–On foot: Approximately a 20-minute walk
–Taxi: A taxi stand is located near the station

4. Congress Venues
Presentations will take place at the Central and Rectorate Building of the University of Aveiro (see map).
5. Practical Information for Presenters
5.1. Oral Presentations
Rooms are equipped with computers and projectors. Presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint format (.ppt or .pptx). Personal laptops/tablets cannot be used, so please bring your presentation on a USB drive. If using Mac OS X, convert your presentation to ensure compatibility with Windows PowerPoint. Oral presentations should not exceed 20 minutes.
5.2. Poster Presentations
Posters must follow the guidelines provided in Section 2 of the “Submission and Registration” page.
Posters will be displayed throughout the Congress and must be taken down by the authors at the end. The poster session (schedule to be determined) will serve as a discussion forum, and authors are required to be present.
