2. Abstract Submission
Proposals for contributions are welcome in two formats: oral presentations (maximum duration of 20 minutes) and posters (A1 size – 594 x 841 mm, to be prepared using the template, with printing at the author’s expense). Abstract submissions are open until January 20, 2025, via the designated submission form.
For presentations related to ongoing academic work, supervisors must be listed as co-authors (with proper authorization). All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified by email by February 24, 2025.
3. Registration
To confirm participation as a speaker, please complete the registration by March 7, 2025, including a proof of bank transfer by e-mail.
For receipt issuance, please include the full name, tax identification number, and complete address.
- Registration for oral presentations or posters: €80 (deadline March 7, 2025)
- Non-presenter registration: €25 (deadline April 10, 2025)
Any applicable bank fees are to be covered by the participant.

Note: University of Aveiro faculty and students are exempt from registration fees. However, a €10 fee applies for issuing a participation certificate in these cases.
4. Final Paper Submission
Final papers (oral presentations or posters) selected for publication will appear in a special issue of the journal Rotas a Oriente. Submissions should follow the style guide provided in the “Instructions for Authors” and be submitted for review by June 30, 2025, via the journal’s online platform.
